Work

Sites on the record, and the systems behind a longer career.

Five public sites are the clearest things to show first. The organizations further down are employers and client teams from direct work and consulting engagements, written up on the about page.

New Statecraft Institute

Website · Washington, D.C. and Pasadena

New Statecraft Institute landing page. A darkened Capitol dome carries the headline about the search for common ground.

New Statecraft Institute conducts independent research on federal policy and publishes prescriptions it believes can pass. The site opens on that claim — common ground as a moral imperative — over the Capitol, then moves into four objectives: breaking gridlock, ending conflicts of interest, looking past the two-party frame, and rebuilding trust with documented facts.

Further down, the page introduces the Transformative Leadership Initiative, the Elections Reality Project, and the executive team, including co-founders Dr. Thomas O’Brien and D. James “DJ” Jones. Offices are listed in Washington and Pasadena. The build is a restyle of the institute’s public presence: a single argument, a clear navigation path, and a way to subscribe or give.

Transformative Leadership Initiative

Website · A flagship project of New Statecraft Institute

Transformative Leadership Initiative landing page with a bright Capitol photograph and the headline Restore Public Trust in Government.

transformativeleaders.us is the public home of the initiative. The headline is direct: restore public trust in government. The page argues that a critical mass of lawmakers willing to put country before party can change incentives in Congress, and it explains the two instruments meant to do that.

The Accord is a framework candidates can affirm — competitive elections, fiscal responsibility, congressional efficacy, presidential accountability, and Supreme Court legitimacy — without having to endorse every line. The Scorecard is designed to recognize members who advance that agenda during a two-year Congress, with an inaugural edition aimed at 2028. The site keeps candidates and citizens on separate paths instead of mixing the ask.

OtherZ

Product site · Alignment

OtherZ alignment page on a dark grid, with a neon helix mark and the words human-aligned A.I. agents.

OtherZ presents itself as “the other you”: human-aligned agents grown from a real person or character. The alignment view treats the problem as two parts. A likeness has to be built from what is already known, and the questions asked of it have to match the way that person would expect to be asked. News and X are described as the feeds that keep opinions current. The result is meant to work through statements, an API, or MCP.

The page also carries a chat-history path: paste a thread or connect one, and OtherZ extracts the actors and starts a likeness for each person, so later references keep building the same individuals. The interface is a dark product surface — alignment, products, axes, likeness, live sync, teams, sandbox, and API — rather than a brochure.

Doulagy

Website · Postpartum care in Texas and California

Doulagy landing page. A cream field and wisteria photograph carry the headline about the fourth trimester, beside a portrait of Sheila Davis.

Doulagy Infant Care is a postpartum doula practice becoming an agency. The homepage opens on one line — you were never meant to do the fourth trimester alone — over a soft botanical photograph, with Sheila Davis, CPD, beside it. Care covers overnight newborn support and feeding help for families in Dallas, McKinney, Los Angeles, and Orange County.

The site is a path rather than a brochure. A family can book a complimentary 45-minute Discovery Dialogue, look at overnight plans at $65 an hour for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, and see how intake moves from that conversation to a matched doula at homecoming. Separate pages cover care, Sheila, joining the team, and common questions.

Apartments.com

Website · CoStar Group, January 2015 — April 2017

Apartments.com homepage. A Chicago skyline carries the headline Discover Your New Home, above a row of rental listings.

Apartments.com is the rental marketplace behind CoStar Group’s consumer brand. The public homepage opens on a city photograph and the line “Discover Your New Home,” then moves straight into listings. Kenneth’s part was the original launch, from the Irvine office, not the marketing page as it stands now.

He built and maintained the API layers and the MVC .NET, HTML5, and JavaScript pages in front of them, with Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server behind. Before the launch he spent much of his time on mobile front-end bugs. The property had to stay fast at peaks above a million visitors a day.
